Super 6 is one of the popular versions of Baccarat, especially in the US. The live Super 6 is really simple and an easy game which mainly consists of three main bets namely banker bet, player bet and tie bet which is also known as Banco, Punto, and Egalite respectively. However, the game does have a few stringent rules but the execution of the game is straightforward and lucid.

Live Super 6: Game Rules

This live game uses a six-deck shoe. The tens and the face cards do not have any value. Ace through nine has face values. Ace is worth one and nine is worth nine. The suits have no relevance in Super 6. Every value is confined to a single digit. Say the value of two cards exceeds nine and hence is effectively ten or higher than only the count on the right is factored into the game. If the value of the two cards is seventeen, then, you would have a count of seven. If you have three cards amounting to twenty-seven even then you would have a value of seven. The number on the left is discarded regardless. A hand in Super 6 can be a maximum of three cards. There is no provision in the rules to deal the fourth card.

The Live Super 6 game begins with players placing a particular type of bet. It could be banco, punto or egalite. The player and the banker would pay equal money, which is basically a ratio of one to one. The only time when the banker shall pay less, half to be exact, is if they have a count of six. A tie bet is usually eight to one. The objective of the game is pretty simple. A player must view for a count of nine. This is the maximum points one can have in one hand and it is the clear winner. However, the counts can be anywhere from one to nine so the winning chances vary and so do the rewards.

The live dealer will draw two cards to the player and then two cards to the banker. The third card is dealt with the player and the banker or only to the player depending on the set of applicable rules. The third card is automatic in specific circumstances so there is no discretion.

The Significance of the Third Card in the Live Super 6

If the count of the cards is five or less than five for the player, then, the third card is drawn. If the count is six or over, then, the player may not draw the third card but the banker does if their hand is valued at five or less. In case the player draws the third card, then, a specific third card rule for the banker will come into effect. But remember that if the player or the banker has eight or nine as the total value of the two cards drawn at first, then, the third card is not drawn.

What are Player Pair, Bank Pair and Either Pair?

These are called perfect pair side bets. The Banker Pair refers to the first two cards drawn to the banker which should be a pair. The payout for this pair is eleven to one. The Player Pair is the same as the Bank Pair with the same payout ratio. The Either Pair refers to either of the two cards which can have a pair. The payout is five to one.
